Run for your lives!
Gotta love blowin’ up the interwebs. I’ve added the NetDisaster toolbar to the top of every page on the site. So at any time you can choose your destructo du jour and start smashin’! Enjoy.

So I’ve added a twitter feed to the site. *yay* I’ll try to keep up with it better than I do posting. It’ll also automatically tweet when I post to the site, which is pimp. Check out my twitter page and be my friend!
I’m continuously getting chastised for not posting more often. So today you get a post and a site facelift. I’m working to make my layout more universal, so I can change the look more often without having to re-code all my little nuances into a new theme. In the interim, I’m going with the highly customizable Mandigo theme. Whaddya think?
Work’s been a bit busy lately. As we near the end of the fiscal year everyone’s rushing about trying to make sure their accounts are all balanced and projects have been completed, invoiced, and paid. I, myself, have three rather large projects on the table that won’t be anywhere near finished by July 1, so I’m trying to make certain I’ve bought and paid for absolutely everything I need before then. That can be rough. Also, I recently began to clean my office. This is a task so grand in its undertaking it may well be stated we’ll have peace in the middle east before I’m done. But at least I can see my desk now.
In the off-hours I’m cramming for my CCNA exam, something I should’ve taken years ago, but never really wanted to pay for myself, and working with an MSU professor to develop a lab curriculum for the Wireless TSM classes. It was definitely an honor to be asked to participate in this, and it will be wonderful to have my name on a lab manual produced by a university.
Add to that my plan for upgrading the operating system in every single access point on campus this summer and migration of them all to a new management system, a system I need to find an available week to attend training for somewhere out in the wild yonder, and the new, fully-wireless residential college coming online in the coming months, and I’m a tad overwhelmed.
Also, I have a wife and child somewhere that it would be nice to see. To think I thought that by not taking any classes, I’d have a relaxing summer. Riiiiiiight.
Okay, so it’s obvious I’m no good with the whole “showin’ off our pictures” deal. So I let Missy take over. And now not only are they all available at one place, but it’s even better than ever. Check out the Perry Family pictures at perryfamily.smugmug.com!
It would seem as though the time has come, once again, to throw caution to the wind, retire the honored canvas of creations past, and set pen to digital pad as the formation of a new world begins at drewperry.com. Perpetual Construction was a proud chapter in this site’s life, but she was far too familiar, and familiarity sires but one brood. Months had passed without a post of true mettle, and far longer since any new elements or tricks. So, it is with a reverent heart that the old ways are cast aside, and a path is made for the new. The Moebius Strip begins today, a new chapter in this digital saga. Will it fare any greater than its predecessor? Only time will tell. But there is one thing to be said with a modicum of certainty… more to come!
P.S. Before begins the barrage of the inevitable inquisition, let me say to any party interested in the title of said new site, look it up.
